Hammitt handpicks suede that is generally water resistant, but keep your bag away from dirt and oils and store it in its dust bag. Take special care after applying lotion, sunscreen, or other skincare, and wash your hands before carrying the bag.
If your bag becomes extremely wet, allow it to air dry slowly, away from heaters or other heat sources. Do not use heat to dry it. Once dry, brush the suede to lift the fibers and restore its soft feel.
